Default vanquish questions

I've started to vanquish in Nightfall and at about half done I'm starting to have trouble.

Using H/H, I'm having a heck of time killing one healer - they can outheal all 8of us doing damage. When there are 2 healers in a mob it seems impossible. I've got interupts on the heros (I can't react fast enough in hard mode to do much interupting).

Any suggestions on how to get past the healers would be very much appreciated.

It would help if you posted your party setup, builds, and what area you're trying to vanquish.

My party setup? My primary is a ranger. I have the leg skill hunter so any secondary and just about any skill is avail to me or the heros.

As for H/H, all heros from Nightfall and EOTN are available, and of course all of the henchies. I've tried lots of different setups and I'm not locked into any specific party setup.

I'm having trouble in pretty much all of Vabbi and The Desolation.

Like I said, mainly the healers - especially when there's more than one healer.

When I did nightfall with my warrior my heroes were a standard Sabway build minus the area with undead. Then I went smite/Frozen soil. Other than that my hench were Herta, Cynn, Mhenlo, and the other healer. I had luck running two builds. 1) a basic Spirit Spammer build especially in the Desolation where the spirits made a great shield for my heroes and Frozen soil spirit. The rest I used a basic Axe build. What helped me the most was making sure I called the target and I started with EVAS on the monk/healer which helped to draw the attention away from the rest of my party to focus fire to spike them and then using "Finish Him". This was especially helpful with the stupid Corsair healers. Had very little problems beside battling the boredom of nightfall vanquishes.

Haven't tried dazed yet - I'll give that a go.

I must confess I have heard of "sabway" but never looked into it and wasn't aware of it's purpose.

I now realize I don't have Olias, so he's first on the list, then I'll give that a shot.

Well I had no trouble vanquishing with 2-3 monks in the group. There is one boss that is very hard to take down due to him being a monk boss and his healers... his name is Mungri Magicbox.

Interrupts, Daze, Scourge Healing, Shadow Shroud, Spirit Shackles, and Backfire are useful when taking down monks. Also Rend Enchantments is great for monks too. Good luck on your vanquishes.

Daze is probably the solution you're looking for.

Sabway, DIscordWay and spiritual discord way are basically hero setups that can defeat almost everything with minimal effort from the player.
Sab and discord are necro only builds, discord require the player to call targets and the spiritual was originally made for 2 player but I know there's a compressed 1 human version.

I heard discord was the best overall, but I haven't used it.

Like Dzjudz said, Broad Head Arrow is an excellent skill (obtainable in Factions). Combined with Epidemic and a hero Minion Master means continues interruption of dazed casters.

Thx for all the suggestions.

I figured I should try sabway, and decided to combine a few things. I used broad head, and took along Odurra the mesmer so she could do the interupts. Without Broad Head she was having trouble, but with it she handled things pretty easy.

Went through Resplendent Makuun (one of the first areas to give me problems) real easy. I was amazed at how fast Josinq the Whisperer went down.

I may be able to do the last 14 areas yet.
